Our October Meeting featured our annual autumn members' slide presentation and, as usual, we were treated to a great variety of material illustrating our friends' summer shipwatching activities. The evening was a great success and we thank all those who contributed to the occasion. We also extend a special word of thanks to Roger Chapman, who served as projectionist.

Are you windering,[sic] perhaps, whether you remembered to send us your membership fees for the 1983-84 season, as requested in the Mid-Summer and October issues? If you receive this issue, then not to worry, for only those who have renewed remain on our mailing list. If, perchance, any of your acquaintances mention that they have not received the November issue, however, you might remind them that their membership renewal is overdue.

In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to Clarence Coxon of Desboro, to William Corking of Cambridge, to David Smith of Aurora, to J. B. Easton of Brockville, to Garnet Reid of Midland, to Clark Morgan of Lakewood, Ohio, to Leo Desjardins of Penetanguishene, to Edwin Martin of Hagerstown, Maryland, to Arthur Brown of Mississauga, to Michael Robson of Burlington, and to Arthur Woodford of St. Clair Shores, Michigan.
