Our February meeting was an illustrated talk on the subject of riverboats and covered a wide variety of the craft operated (and operating) on the rivers of the Mississippi system as well as the various types of locks and dams which provide slackwater on the system. Bill Wilson and ye Ed. both hope that all those present enjoyed the evening. It was very pleasing to your Executive to see so many new members in attendance.

The Dinner Meeting. For those who may have overlooked the details in these pages last month, we repeat the details here. The meeting will be held in the Ship Inn, a restaurant located in the basement of the Marine Museum. For those who may be coming from out of town and who may not have been to the museum before, it is located in the old Stanley Barracks building at the south-east end of the Canadian National Exhibition grounds.

Dinner will be served at 7:00 or shortly thereafter and the bar will be open early for those who might enjoy a restorative before the meal. The evening's address will be given by Mr. John O. Greenwood. Cost of the dinner will be $6.75 per person and although by the time this appears we will have passed the deadline for ticket sales, those interested might contact the Treasurer, Mr. James M. Kidd, 83 Humberview Road, Toronto, Ontario, M6S 1W9, to see if there is any available space. The capacity of the restaurant is limited. See you there.
