1800. Schooner Free Democrat, damaged in outfit and hull by striking Sheboygan pier.

1801. Scow J. C. Hills, damaged in sails and rigging at Sheboygan.

1802. Propeller Milwaukee, machinery disabled near Port Colborne, Lake Erie.

1803. Scow Blue Bell, cargo lumber; on a reef in Bailey's harbor; not off.

1804. Schooner Hero, outfit damaged and lost deck load wood on Lake Michigan.

1805. Scow D. R. Holt, damaged in hull and sails on L. Michigan.

1806. Schooner Challenge, damaged while at a pier in Sister Bay, Lake Michigan $800.

1808. Norwegian sailor killed by a fall from aloft on bark Great West, at Chicago.

Not included in the above statement, there were 174 minor collisions and leakages at Chicago and elsewhere, 37 groundings on the Flats, and 29 disasters occurring in Detroit and St Clair Rivers, resulting from groundings or getting ashore - making a total of this class of 240, and a grand total of 2,048 disasters throughout the season.
